Let's Keep Kids Safe This Halloween

Halloween is almost here, and it will be up to everyone in League City working together to make sure trick-or-treaters stay safe this year.

With lots of kids walking so close to traffic, it will be important for drivers to be cautious. More pedestrians are hit by vehicles on Halloween than other day of the year.

Mac Haik Toyota wants to remind you to follow these safety tips this Halloween:

  • Turn on your emergency flashers if you need to stop on the street to pick up or drop off children.
  • Drive with your headlights on whether day or night.
  • Give pedestrians the right of way.
  • Do not drive if you are drunk or distracted. No texting and driving.
  • Slow down and be prepared to stop for kids.

We hope everyone will drive with care and watch out for kids on the streets this Halloween. We wish everyone a safe and happy holiday!
